This was a perfect spot for a quiet, beach-side holiday. The unit is a rustic 2 bedroom with a small kitchen and updated bathroom. The view from the living room is incredible and the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep during the requisite afternoon nap. There is a small patio right in front of the unit which is the top of the dune. You feel like you are at the beach without taking the 50 steps down the path to reach the water. The only thing that the website didn't make completely clear was that the other 2 units on the site are attached together. This appears to be a house that was divided at some point so 3 groups share the path to the water. It really wasn't a problem because we had lovely neighbours for the week. We were able to enjoy fires on the beach with them which was delightful. I'd love to go back off-season too as the East Sandwich location puts it at the start of the 6A historic highway that winds through picturesque towns along Cape Cod. Lovely.
Liked best:
The location and the view.
Liked least:
Lack of basic condiments etc in the cottage and the cold water faucet always ran hot. .
