We cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Parsonage! We were visiting with our parents, who endured some health challenges this past year, and this was just the tonic they needed. The owners are the warmest, friendliest hosts ever. They can't do enough for you! We asked Richard and JoAnn many questions about where to go, what to do, and the recommendations did not disappoint. We even managed to find the "best lobster roll" as recommended by Richard. I felt that we were treated as family and not just guests.

Location is really good. There is a store just across the street where you can pick up snacks and wine and just about any other odds and ends you might need. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Yet you know you are in a neighborhood, where people say hello as you pass.

The home is beautifully vintage, with clear attention to detail in every room. The bedrooms are inviting and upscale, with good-sized bathrooms and all the amenities, yet still in keeping with the age of the home. It was interesting to realize how much shorter people were in those days. The outdoor area is so pleasant, with plenty of seating amongst the beautiful flowers and greenery. We spent several hours just enjoying the weather, sipping wine, and conversing with other guests. We also enjoyed breakfast on the patio one morning....we didn't want to leave. As others have noted, the breakfasts are fantastic!! The use of fresh garden herbs is superb and not heavy-handed. And your coffee cup is always full.

Thank you to Jo and Richard for making our stay a trip down memory lane, a renewal, and a fantastic experience for all of us.

We recently stayed at The Parsonage Inn for a mini vaca with friends and it was superb! The Innkeepers are friendly, helpful, professional, and a delight to deal with. From the moment I called for information Richard, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with. The Inn was perfection! Beautiful, clean, lovely decorated. The breakfast was soooo delicious! The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were top notch. I wouldn't change one thing! The living room area was set up perfectly for relaxing after dinner with tea and coffee always available. I would highly recommend this Inn. It's conveniently located in the Cape. Richard and Jo-anne offered suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat. All were just perfect. Don't miss this wonderful spot! We will certainly go back again.

We just completed our third visit to the Parsonage Inn under the ownership of Joanne and Richard Hoad. They greeted us as if we were family members whom they hadn't seen for some time and once again proved to be wonderful hosts. Each breakfast was a work of art and we enjoyed the exceptionally rearranged and comfortable room where we have stayed in the past. Thank you Joanne and Richard! We'll be back!

Room Tip: I recommend the Mayberly on the first floor.

We recently stayed at this charming Bed and Breakfast Inn. It is beautifully situated and is located in the heart of Cape Cod. The bedrooms are individually named and tastefully decorated to a high specification. The owners, Jo and Rich, are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to ensure everything is to perfection. Jo's breakfasts every morning were truly scrumptious! I would highly recommend a visit!

Room Tip: Quaint, friendly atmosphere with all the necessary amenities

Thank you for your review, it's really appreciated and Jo always love to hear about her breakfasts. Being a historic 1770's Inn, it's a labor of love keeping it looking perfect, so we love to receive views from our guests. Please think of us if you visit the Cape again.

We stayed late August and I feel guilty for not reviewing earlier given the great experience we had but a decision to retire by the end of the year and a month in Australia watching England lose the Ashes are to blame!

Jo and Richard and their family were great hosts and really helpful with hints and tips about where to go and what to do.

Breakfasts on the terrace were a real treat and it was great time for catching up with the other guests.

The farm shop across the road was really handy for snacks and treats as well as picking up and wine and the odd ice cream or three.

There are a couple of restaurants waiting walking distance that are OK for evening meals but most of the time we jumped into the car and or ate out wherever we were visiting.

Sorry Jo and Richard for the delayed review and thanks agains for making our holiday a memorable one.

We always appreciate you taking the time to write a review - many thanks. We also hope you enjoyed your trip to Australia with the "Balmy Army". Now that you're enjoying retirement there's no excuse not to visit us again. Thanks again
