Ok, although I personally believe the blueberry shake is worth the trip, the cubano was unbelievably delicious but make sure you get the fries and try their specialty dips.

Excellent place for lunch, but arrive early, like when they open at 11am.
The Pontine, Belgian fries topped with cheese curd, duck gravy and chives is amazing. Get a small size so you can enjoy their other delicious menu items like the duck and kale salad and the pulled pork cubans.
If you have to wait it is well worth it

The best fries in Portland. I know it doesn't sound like it, but they are delicious. You absolutely have to try them. The variety of the dipping sauces is excellent!

We visited Duckfat after reading rave reviews, decided it was worth the 25+ minute wait to get the first available table.

Once the buzzer flashed we returned to the restaurant to be seated. A long high table near the window was open. The host seated us at the inside end of the table. We asked if we could seat near the window instead. Unfortunately the host informed us that he would seat a party of four near the window because it was easier for him to serve, in a fairly unpleasant tone. This was an unfortunate start to what was otherwise an enjoyable meal.

The server was nice and friendly, and the food on spot.

I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. We ordered the duck confit sandwich and fries. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a more delicious sandwich. The fries were delicious also, but the 24 hour duck confit was sublime. The restaurant is very small, which is why we had a half hour wait for lunch, but we enjoyed a walk along the cobblestone streets while we waited. Service was excellent and the prices reasonable. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!!
