My wife and I stayed here for three days in June. The building itself is lovely, the room was as well. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. And the location is perfect- steps to Street and Co and the Gelato Fiasco You can’t do much better than this on a trip.

This hotel is right in the center of restaurants and shops. A few minutes walk to the water. Luxurious hotel with many amenities. Very clean. Friendly staff. Extremely comfortable. Even though there is a lot going on surrounding the area it was a quiet place.

We spent the night before the Peaks Island Road Race here. It was perfect! There was an Italian restaurant a few doors down where we had dinner that night, and the next morning, there was coffee available for our early departure in a charming kitchen area in the hall. The room was simple and nice. Recommend.

Tons of character and charm. This hotel was not your cookie cutter hotel. The staff seemed to really take pride in working at a place that actually had a personality instead of a faceless corporate entity. Everything was clean and comfortable and the location could not be better. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to explore Portland.

Excellent hotel with tons of character. The staff are all very helpful. We found every valet parking attending really friendly and helpful. It’s nice that they have a car to take guests around (or to/from airport), which we used on a rainy day to a location with poor parking options. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only recommendation I would have is to ask for a garden view room (unless you’re a night owl). This is important Thursday through the weekend when the bars nearby are playing very loud music until 1 AM. If you have a city view room, you will hear it. The hotel staff was very helpful with that situation and offered to help us out, which was very much appreciated. Overall, highly recommend this place and wlll return. Great location!

Room Tip: If you’re staying over a weekend (starting Thursday night) and you value sleep before 1 AM, ask for garden view room.
