Stopped in for breakfast before hopping the trolley across the street - and SO GLAD we did! The homemade braised short rib hash with eggs, caramelized onions, and potatoes was outstanding. The hash was melt-in-your-mouth juicy and delicious. The restaurant is cozy and simple in its decor, the service was terrific, and the view overlooking the town was delightful.

Great cocktail selection! We did not eat there, but the service behind the bar was super friendly and helpful!

Stopped at Salt and Honey for lunch at 12:30. My son's first two menu choices they were out of (turkey sandwiches was one of them). With such a condensed menu, hard to understand how they would run out of anything.

Arrived in Kennebunkport for a long weekend, and this was our first stop.

Their breakfast/ lunch menu was diverse and seemed very local.

With drinks in hand, I had the “skinny” breakfast burrito and my boyfriend got the fried haddock sandwich, which was super fresh.

In addition we had one blueberry pancake, because hey, we were in Maine!

Check them out for simple, good food!

We are locals. Went to Salt and Honey for the first time Thursday night for Eat the Kennebunks restaurant week. I tried the clam chowder, seared salmon and chocolate pie. Hubby got grape salad, ravioli and strawberry pie. We were both very happy with our selections. Everything was fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. In my mind the real stand out was the chowder. It was a thin broth with chopped carrots, plenty of bacon and some subtle herbs. We also enjoyed the ambience and our friendly but professional waitress. We will return after the tourists leave!
