The pictures on the site look nice; I wish we had experienced that place! The room we had was so small it was hard for two people to maneuver. The furniture should have been replaced years ago. The room had an odor. I’m attaching photos of our room and the gym - they speak for themselves. Pictures reflect sheets and blanket on the bed with multiple holes, large patches of carpet worn down to the plywood in the fitness room, extremely tiny bathroom, and chair in the room that looked like it had been attacked by an animal.

Dinner the night we stayed was good. The location near town was nice.

So sorry you were so disappointed. Our century old resort is constantly being updated and as our four star rating and so many positive reviews attest, yours was an unusual experience. Glad you enjoyed our Millbrook Tavern and Grille and our location on the Town Common.

Overall great value, amenities, and location for a winter ski trip. The check-in/-out process was seamless and the staff was very friendly/helpful. Downside was the floors were not the cleanest (which we had to monitor given we have a toddler) and most dishes needed to be washed or run through the dishwasher before use.

Thanks for your review and I will pass along your positive comments to our staff. Sorry our housekeeping staff slipped up… a call to or front desk would have tended to it immediately. Please look me up on your next visit.

I stayed here on a wedding weekend in the main hotel. The staff were great to work with and the inn is beautiful and quaint. I ate and drank in the onsite restaurant as well as catered meals provided by the venue. Everything was good. My biggest complaint would be the rooms and their soundproofing or lack there of. If you have a close neighbor you will hear their every conversation next door. I tried to schedule a next day spa service and it was fully booked up for the whole weekend as well which was a disappointment. That being said, I do encourage staying here when in town for events other than skiing at Sunday River. I think it is a bit to far from the slopes and other hotels to make it worth it. Unless you want to get away from those things.

So sorry you couldn’t book your spa treatment; we do advise that reservations be made prior to arrival and we apologize if this was not mentioned when you booked. So glad you enjoyed your off-mountain experience with us and I hope to see you on your next visit.

The Bethel Inn is great getaway and located in a historical New England town .We are looking forward to going back !!!! The staff is superb, the food was fantastic, the accommodations were fabulous and there were many activities at the inn itself. It is super close to Sunday River which is rated one of the best ski mountain in the northeast.Plenty to do and worth the trip.

So glad you enjoyed your ski vacation with us and hope you will think of us in the warmer months when our golf course, lake activities and health club are in full swing. It’s amazing how many of our winter guests ask us when we close for the summer when summer is actually an even busier time for us. Please say hello when you return.
