Happened upon an outdoor concert put on by the Bangor Band. Fantastic music waterside on a warm night. Then we walked over to The Sea Dog restaurant. We love walking around this area when in Bangor . Bring a chair or something to sit on. Food trucks only serve until 7pm.

We drove down from Fredericton NB. It’s about a 3 1/2 hour drive. The Pavilion is easy to find and easy to get to - we used Uber and were very impressed. Box office was great and security was friendly and upbeat. There were lots of washrooms ( gross portapotties but lots of em! - couldn’t do better then that with thousands of people there :-) ) and lots of places to buy drinks. Seating was awesome. Excellent sight lines. The sound was really really good for an outdoor venue and never once did we feel crowded or restricted. We loved it and will be back

This was my first time attending a concert at this venue. The concert itself was awesome but the venue has some work to do.

The seats were labeled by row but not by seat number so you had to manually count down rows of 40 chairs to determine where you were to be seated. There was mass confusion, people seated in the wrong spot, crawling over each other to get to the correct seat throughout most of the concert.

There were 2 very large video screens on either side of the main stage that had cables attached to raise them up. However, the screens stayed at ground level so no one seated in the middle to the back of the venue (which was nearly sold out and holds 15,000) could not see anything - For the price of the tickets (70/piece) would have liked to have seen some of the performance and not just hear it,

I have been to many shows at this venue since it opened. Over the last year they enacted enhanced security measures that include the use of metal detectors. Just attended Eric Church, there were between 12k and 14k people. The doors opened at 5:30 and opener went on at 7:00. They have 10 metal detectors, that means over 1200 people have to pass through each one in order to get the whole crowd in. Do the math, it is going to take 3 1/2 hours to accomplish that, and that is what it took. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't get in until 8:30, we missed all of the opening act and are lucky to have gotten in to see Eric Church from start to finish - crowds of people behind us in line were not so lucky. Other venues get people in before the show, I have gone to concerts all over the country and never experienced anything like the lines, wait time and overall disorganization that was present at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion. I read the comments on Facebook and it looks like this has been a problem all summer - they need to figure it out (and buy more metal detectors) or people will stop coming, this gives the Bangor area a bad name and makes it look like we can't accomodate real concerts with large audiences. Extremely disappointed and likely will not return

I LOVE this venue. These folks have turned the Bangor Waterfront into a must go summer concert venue.
Access in and out is smooth and yes security is taken seriously-Thank You.
The acts are terrific-This concert was the Dropkick Murphy's and is my second this season with at least 1 maybe 2 to go!
The staff is remarkably well trained and helpful-they get guest service!
Now if we could keep making yearly municipal improvements to the facility-we will keep attracting great acts and patrons by the thousands.
