Owner description: A 90 minute Forth Bridges Cruise on the Firth of Forth depart from Hawes Pier at South Queensferry which is only a short distance from Scotland's bustling Capital City of Edinburgh. A boat trip aboard the Forth Belle is an ideal way to spend any morning or afternoon. Sit on the outside deck or in the heated observation lounge and listen to the guided commentary. Take in the magnificent views of the Forth Road Bridge and the world-famous, recently awared, World Heritage Forth Railway Bridge built in the Victorian era; the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline to the south and the Kingdom of Fife to the north and the beautiful island of Inchcolm with its medieval abbey.

My husband and I joined the Blackness Castle trip at Port Marina. We were a little early and peckish so went to the Canadian Cafe for a snack. We had bagels and tea. Cost £13.20 and definitely not good value. Husband had cheese and ham and mine came with gherkins, not mentioned on menu and lashings of mustard. Yuck. Later on after our trip we noticed the yacht club does tea and meals, all home made and looking fab. Tea was £1.10 only. Over £2.00 at the other place. So if you are in the area I can highly recommend eating at the yacht club. The trip itself was nice and informative, although, we thought we would be able to get off and see the castle. Well no, you don't get off the boat. The cream tea is supplied on the boat. If the scones had been warm, it would have improved matters, also, if the jam was better quality that would also improve matters. It's nice touches like that, that people notice and appreciate. So, to sum up, Don't eat at the Canadian cafe, better food and value at the Yacht Club. The trip is very nice, but you don't get off the boat.

We took our 4 year old granddaughter on her first ever boat trip and all of us loved the experience. The seals and puffins were a bonus and the very informative commentary was excellent. There is indoor and outdoor seating, toilets and a bar selling drinks and snacks. Great photo opportunities to capture all three bridges. We'll certainly do this trip again as it was a wonderful afternoon out.

Boat tour to see the three bridges from a different perspective. Also included a sail to Blackness castle and a cup of tea :) The commentary was very informative and easy to understand. the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The weather was perfect. I could not find fault with any part of the experience, even the dog enjoyed it.

We were a little bummed that we couldn't stop on the island to see the Abbey but otherwise it was quite enjoyable. The crew is great and they pointed out puffins and we slowed near the seals.
