Nice place , food ok, however £12 for 4 prawns and four little cubes of black pudding,
Thing that annoys is they think acceptable to add 10% service charge, and to remove you have to go to the bar.
This add tip to bills getting out of hand

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a 3 star review- we welcome everyone's feedback and opinions. Sorry to hear you were disappointed with our portion size of our prawn starter dish - we do source fresh local high quality products delivered daily which is therefore reflected in our prices. Also it is standard practice everywhere now all restaurants have a service charge on the bills and this is well advertised on all our menus and receipts for you to see before you have to pay the bill and it is optional so it can be removed if you wish you just have to let us know...Sorry to hear you feel this way but it is just the norm now. Thanks Bryony -Duty Manager.

After a trip on The Forth we stopped in at the Railbridge for something to eat.
Ordered egg mayonnaise and a cheese/coleslaw sandwich on brown bread both which came with a very small salad and nachos and 2x tea's.

The brown bread was hard, definitely NOT fresh bread by any means, the nachos were soft and inedible and the spoon that came with one of the teas had a thick layer of something stuff to it !

When we asked for the bill we informed the server who made a face and made no apology or offered any explanation for the poor offering or dirty cutlery (nor offered any discount !!) we asked for the service charge to be removed which took 2 further attempts to get right- says it all really !

Overall extremely disappointed and regretted visiting this restaurant which we know well. It was one of our favourites at Queensferry however it's now no better than a roadside cafe, the food quality over the past few years has gone downhill with no signs of improvement. The customer service is fairly non existent other than 'here's your food, 'here's you bill' and a 'move along' attitude .... best advice is to seek somewhere who will appreciate your custom, offer value for money, provide a decent standard of food with clean cutlery - too much to ask for ???
