After a trip on The Forth we stopped in at the Railbridge for something to eat.
Ordered egg mayonnaise and a cheese/coleslaw sandwich on brown bread both which came with a very small salad and nachos and 2x tea's.
The brown bread was hard, definitely NOT fresh bread by any means, the nachos were soft and inedible and the spoon that came with one of the teas had a thick layer of something stuff to it !
When we asked for the bill we informed the server who made a face and made no apology or offered any explanation for the poor offering or dirty cutlery (nor offered any discount !!) we asked for the service charge to be removed which took 2 further attempts to get right- says it all really !
Overall extremely disappointed and regretted visiting this restaurant which we know well. It was one of our favourites at Queensferry however it's now no better than a roadside cafe, the food quality over the past few years has gone downhill with no signs of improvement. The customer service is fairly non existent other than 'here's your food, 'here's you bill' and a 'move along' attitude .... best advice is to seek somewhere who will appreciate your custom, offer value for money, provide a decent standard of food with clean cutlery - too much to ask for ???
