Although this attraction is worth seeing, be forewarned it is usually very crowded, Went on a Tuesday in the morning thinking it would be easy to navigate around. The purpose and information provided on the 3 floors of this attraction is full of exhibits and storytelling. Would have given this an excellent rating except for the high cost $40 and some elevators, which do not access all floors. Nevertheless, worth the time (around 3 hours to see everything) and effort.

We traveled here on a family vacation specifically to see the Ark and the Creation Museum and we were not disappointed. Amazing place with lots to see and do. We spent about 5 hours going through everything on site. Bring your walking shoes and bottle of water to refill too. Beautiful landscape and the Ark is beautifully done. Awe inspiring in terms of sheer size. Friendly helpful staff at all levels. Plenty for the kids to see and do including a petting zoo, small animal zoo, and camel rides. Parking is $10 off site and they shuttle you into the park where the Ark is located. Go midweek and early morning or later in the day when it is less crowded. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site. Great buffet with plenty of choices for everyone. Clean and well kept too. We'll definitely be back!

The Ark is breath taking when you first see how massive it is. It is a walk through, so wear comfortable shoes. There are 3 floors on the inside. We spent 7 hours there looking at the displays. The amount of research that went in to building this had to be vast. They explain about the different animals that were on there and how they were able to care for them with that days technology. The Ark encounter was totally fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone who would be interested. You won't be disappointed.

This is huge and I'd say worth seeing once. I probably wouldn't ever go back just because once you see it I can't see seeing it again. No animals inside the ark, it's based on stories and shows what they believe happened and then the scientific view also if you want to read everything. There is a few animals outside which some I feel sorry for as not much shade for them. A lot of walking, three floors. However if you need a scooter or wheelchair you can rent them. One thing nice is there is restrooms on every floor when you need them. It's hard to believe that they would have had dinosaurs on this if you think about the timelines. Not sure if they just added them for display or they really thought Noah would have had them on there. We had a slice of pizza which was okay and reasonable price. A bus will take you to the ark itself. You aren't going to walk there that's for sure. You will need two plus hours or more to get through it. Large crowds if you wait too long in the day to go. It's pricey to get in but they do have discounts if you ask at the ticket booth. No need to buy tickets in advance unless you really want to. Take a photo of yourselves before heading into the ark then you won't need to buy the photo they sell there unless you really want to. Ask someone to take your photo and you take theirs. Save some money. You can get the same photo yourself.

So glad we made the trip to see the Ark Encounter. It's sheer size makes it stand out as you approach from I-75. Once you park your car and purchase your tickets, a bus will deliver you to the welcome area adjacent to the Ark. Since a lot of walking is required wheelchairs, motorized scooters and strollers are available to rent. We did the self-pace tour. There is a lot to see if you visit all levels of the Ark.
Note! You pay for your parking when you purchase your tickets. Don't lose the parking ticket as you will need it to open the exit gates from the parking lot. It might cost an additional $10 to get another.
