Had a party of around 20 people for lunch. We were seated right away and waited on promptly. German cuisine, however, they have chicken and burgers. The burgers are very good, mine was cooked medium as ordered. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their food selection. The service was excellent. Our server kept our drinks filled and checked on us to make sure everything was OK. They have an outside eating area which is very nice if it is not too hot out or rainy. I will definitely go back here to eat.

We just stopped in for a beer and light snack. Service at the bar was great and the beers we tried were very good. We also shared the pretzel appetizer and if we were going to be in town longer we would have planned to come back for lunch or dinner. If you are in the area, like German food and are hungry you will not be disappointed

I love German food, however, I was disappointed. I had plenty to eat, but the food was delivered cold. When I asked the server to heat my food, her service was with I do not care attitude.

We actually came here twice over the weekend. The first time it took a long time to get our drinks and the waitress actually spilled a water and a beer on two separate times. After taking so long to get our drinks, we decided to skip ordering any food since we had to get to the game. We knew we were coming back. The inside was pretty full at that time, but the patio was only half-open. Yes, it's busy, but to wait over 30 minutes for 2 beers is a little ridiculous. To be honest, they need to know if there's a big sports game going on, which there was, and it's a summer weekend. They really need way more servers and staff.

We did come back to eat some dinner later. Again, the inside was busy and the patio was mostly full, although we were able to find a recently vacated table. We cleaned it off ourselves. And once again, service was way too slow. There were multiple waitresses that came past, even making eye contact with us, but we were never able to get one to stop. Finally, after probably 15-20 minutes, Cathy Jo did stop by our table and she was great, just overworked for sure! Because the service was so slow and we had no idea when she could get back to us, we were completely ready and ordered everything immediately. You truly can't beat the food!! Everything was done exactly as we requested, the pretzels are so good, with the beer cheese!! We did have a nice time hanging on the patio for sure and the food is really good. And thankfully, they have food runners, so it's not all on the waitresses.

I would just be prepared to wait for a long time to get service, and longer than I've ever experienced at any other busy restaurant. But you won't regret the food!!

American- German bier hall. Arrived after dinner so the only thing we ate was chocolate cake which was very good.
Large bier selection of course.
Place was hopping when we got there; good music ( quintet with drums, tuba, sax, guitar, and accordion).
People singing along, dancing on the floor and the benches. By 10 most of the crowd had moved on. This was on a Saturday evening after a Reds game.
