Ok so the downside of Groupon is the lack of flexibility you get and having purchased this deal in July for school hols, tonight (post school hols) was the first time we could get booked in. Having seen some reviews, we had some concerns but it was good fun and for £12 for 4 including food amazing value. The nachos came out after about 10 minutes and were nice. The bowling was ok - the pins are on strings and some 'strike' balls didn't score due to this, but with the bump bars and chute my 6 yo daughter scored 90 and came second which she was thrilled with! After we had finished our bowling we sat down and the burgers (ordered when we booked in) were brought over - they were freshly cooked and hot. It is deep fried chicken burger or deep fried veg burger + chips in a brioche style roll (with lettuce!) and ketchup. It is not gourmet dining, their are no knives and forks but hey it is £12 and you have just had 1 hours of bowling thrown in as well. Both kids and adults really enjoyed it! Advice if on group on deal;
Free parking for 90 mins at Sainsbury's Stanmore
You have 1 hour for 2 games of bowling
As above food is fresh and simple but ultimately great value
