While staying at a nearby bed and breakfast, my husband and I went to Jailhouse Pizza for dinner one evening and had a lot of fun exploring the history of the old jailhouse. It's a really unique place where you can go up and see where they did the hangings as well as eat in old jail cells.
It's definitely worth a trip, and the food overall was great! We ordered the chips and queso and were surprised that it tasted like the bags of $2 chips and sale queso from a grocery store, but I didn't think that was a good enough reason to knock this place down to "average" (but I also can't recommend getting that appetizer). Our waiter kept our drinks full and was attentive yet gave us space, and the view of the river was wonderful. You should check it out if you're ever in the area!
