We dropped in for a quick bite to eat in the middle of the afternoon while visiting the isle. Complete menu wasn't available because of the time so we plunked for the 'galettes' which were served by the friendly waitresses, and very filling and tasty they were.

Very good galettes and crepes in this well established restaurant in the Main Street of Noirmoutier just minutes from the castle. Large choice of both savory and sweet local crepes and delicious cider for a perfect combination. Place can get very busy so best to book ahead

We had the best crepes and galettes in this very nice and bustling restaurant in the heart of Noirmoutier. Efficient service and long list of galettes to choose from, all delicious and very generous in toppings. You will for sure be very satisfied with Le Palais ! Don't miss it!

We arrived here after a long coastal walk, a little late for lunch, meaning that we were turned away by a couple of places. Le Palais, however, were still serving and we decided to tray the set menu with the fish soup. Good choice for two hungry wayfarers! The soup came with croutons, tons of grated cheese and a curious fish paste. Put together it made a very substantial, and enjoyable, main dish. Washed down with cider (included) and followed by a very tasty crepe with caramel. Recommended!

This place seems to focus on the tourist trade with a crepe dominated menu. However the food was good, and so was the service. We had two courses and would return here if we visited Noirmoutier again. Recommended.
