When I went there they had some good portraits and paintings and it was very interesting and it's worth a visit to go there.

I had a huge fresh salad at the museum
Overlooking a great view of the Mississippi River. If you are downtown, stop here for lunch— don’t need to pay museum fee.
Large freshly made sandwiches too.

The museum is not large but has a nice selection including Monet, Tiffany, Frank Lloyd Wright, modern art as well as sculpture. I found parking on site.

Not a large museum, but a good mix of artwork displayed. Two special exhibits when we were there most recently, one of a local artist. Check admission policy; it was free for at least two months in summer 2017. Cafe is open for lunch on weekdays.

When I checked the internet about visiting the museum, the site said that it was museum week and so their was no fee to go thru the museum. When we got there, we were charged a fee, buy one ticket, get one free. I asked about what the internet said they said only if you had a card from the library. We still went in and enjoyed our visit and saw a lot of interesting art.
