I had a really solid medium flat-iron steak at this somewhat quaint downtown pub right on the Cedar River. It takes a good cook to hit the right spot on a medium steak and this one was just right. Unfortunately the service made the overall experience take a hit, as I had to approach a waitress upon entering to find out whether to simply take a table or wait to be seated--this was after she stared at me for around a minute from the kitchen area. There was a "you're not from around here, are you?" vibe from then on, with slow, curt service throughout. It's a shame, because the food was good and the setting is nice.
