This really is a bar, but with plenty of food options that were all better than your average bar food. My group had fried pickles and loaded nachos with shredded beef to start, and both were good. For dinner, I had a spinach salad with grilled chicken that was nice and fresh, and a side of mac & cheese that was great comfort food. My friends had a burger, mussels, crawfish and a few other things, and everyone was happy. This is casual, with the food served in plastic baskets on paper and similar things.

An very funky and cool place for dinner and drinks--the décor was very kitschy and amusing. The servers are all super cool and Donny was so funny it was almost like having a floor show. All the food was excellent. The poor boys were so huge, you could not close them without eating some of the contents. The crawfish boil was spicy and tasty and they did not skimp on the amount. The salads were very good--if you go for that sort of thing at a true Nawlin's restaurant. The fish and chips were superb. The tap beer list was very good and included things like Shiner Bock and Guiness--yum. For a larger party, they do multi-ingredient seafood broils where you pick the seafood. Go to this place and eat.

What a gem of a place to eat! Our family had breakfast and everyone loved it. I had a sweet potato pancake and it was great. Service was fast and friendly. Interesting decor in keeping with the "garage" theme. Right across the street from Coe College.

Stopped Sunday after church, breakfast for me and lunch for wife. Waitress got drink order and drinks right away, but didn't return for food order for a long, long time. (Should have timed it but didn't...) Food didn't take too long once we were able to place an order. Food was all good. Give the place a try, just not if you are in a hurry.

A coworker and I were in the area and decided to check this place out. We were glad we did. The menu was larger than expected, lots of items from breakfast to burgers and lots of seafood dishes. We both had the blackened Mahi tacos, they were out of this world delicious and they didn't skimp on the Mahi. I would definitely return if I'm back in the area.
