Our room was clean and spacious. We loved the two sinks, one in the bathroom and one outside it.. Breakfast was tasty and offered protein choices such as eggs and ham, as well as muffins and waffles. The tables were roomy, also.

We stayed at the Farmstead Inn in conjunction with a wedding we attended with friends. The bride's family is from the nearby area and the couple held the wedding reception at the Farmstead Inn Conference Center.

Truly enjoyed ourselves! All of life in the Amish / Mennonite country area just seems to move a little slower and be a little more wholesome. The Farmstead Inn is part of that experience. The rooms were completely modern, fresh, clean ... enjoyable. We had an unusual occurrence: on arrival, the key card opened the door to the room once, then failed. Eventually it was figured out that the batteries in the door lock unit needed to be replaced! We were glad Patrick was on duty at the desk and had the troubleshooting skills and knowledge to correct the problem. One supposes batteries like that do need replaced every once in a while, but the fact is we've never had that happen to us before!
The room, by the way, had numerous electrical outlets which is sometimes unusual these days.

For this trip, the Inn was a great location for the three events we attended. First was the flee market direct across the street. Next was the Horse Equestrian show just a couple blocks down. Then the Events center to see a music concert.

Easy access to town and right across the street from the flea market. Breakfast foods are below par with high fat, high sugar options and dry burned scrambled eggs two days in a row. Service was good, staff very nice and responsive.

Overall rooms clean, complimentary breakfast and location great for flea market were good.. My biggest complaint I ask for 2 nights and 2 handicap rooms for 2 couples. They only had us down for 1 night, so we had to give up handicap rooms 2nd night and assigned to other rooms. The couple with us had to change their room twice due to front desk errors. This error was very frustrating and caused big burden to the handicap people.
