Firstly, the drive in 15 km on dirt or gravel is not what we're used to. Thankfully, it was a bit of fun in our 4 by 4. Less so if you were driving a Micra. However, you wouldn’t be running out to the shops so Oyster Bay Lodge is a retreat and the night we spent was not nearly enough. I would say that 2 to 3 days would do it. Read the website for the activities. This is a place to take advantage of the outdoors rather than relaxing in the relatively spartan rooms or common areas. The food was surprisingly good. No choice for dinner allows for a focus on quality over quantity. The breakfast was particularly good. Service was very friendly. A good place to chill.More
