There is possibly no better beach in Australia and it's only access is this rental property, which is a perfectly nice house.
Our extended family spent a week at this incredible spot. The house is all you could want for a complete beach retreat. The beach itself is amazing- fishing, waves and daily dolphin displays. We will be back again and again.
The location for this property is nothing short of amazing. A secluded location with private surf beach. 2 bedrooms facing beach with sliding doors which was great for night time listening to the water. The beds were nice enough and the shower was powerful.
Wildlife roaming around at dusk, we even spotted dolphins one afternoon.
We felt that the house, however, was a little bit underwhelming and the owner is obviously relying solely on the location.
It is advertised with a well equipped kitchen and an outside BBQ. The house sleeps 6 and we had 6 in our group. The BBQ is a tiny Weber BabyQ! Not big enough to cook for 6. The pans in the kitchen were small, again, nowhere near enough for cooking for 6. 2 of the oven trays were literally rusting through. And given the remote location, you're going to be cooking each night.
There were no outside bins by the house, we had to leave our rubbish bags by the back door. Same with recyclables, no bin so had to leave in a neat pile inside. 2 of the lounge door screens had big holes in.
There are fans but no air con anywhere, so I would not recommend this house in the summer. The lounge is pretty much entirely windows and it would be stifling.
Just minor things that would've made our stay perfect instead of detracting from it.
