“A little disappointing”
Review of Seljalandsfoss

Reviewed 28 June 2018 via mobile

We went to see this waterfall after Skogafoss, and we were disappointed by what we saw. So we decided not to visit it. Yes, you can walk behind the waterfall, but it is not as spectacular as Skogafoss or Svaryifoss, which we liked better.

We were blown away by the natural beauty of a completely snow covered Iceland. Although we want to return in the summer - everyone needs to see Iceland in February. We love waterfalls and are glad we added this one to our list.

This waterfall is beautiful and of course so fun to walk behind. We had on rain jackets but not rain pants and we didn't get that wet. You have to pay to park and some people parked a decent trek away to avoid it. It was ~$7 when we were there. The bathrooms are portable type but free and an ample number for all the people who are there.
This is one of the popular tourist stops in the south of Iceland but shouldn't be missed while there.

Amazing waterfall that you get to walk behind. Wear a waterproof jacket and pants as you will get wet from the mist and close proximity.

Iceland is a land of waterfalls. If you travel around the country you will see dozens of them and probably actually visit a dozen. They never fail to impress. There is something majestic with falling water.
