This was our third stay at lovely bienvenue and it remains one of our absolute favourite rentals anywhere...and we do a LOT of travelling. always clean, warm, comfortable, welcoming and beautifully presented. Great location...so much to do, or do nothing at all but soak up those wonderful views. The helpful owner is always a delight to correspond with and helpful at all times. i can continue to 100% recommend this superb property.

“Excellent, exceeded all expectations!!!!”
Reviewed 20 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We stayed here for 5 nights with our two boys. The house is in a fantastic location, is beautifully presented and we felt really spoilt. The stunning view every morning, even in the mist, was a welcome sight. Even though the warmest December in a century, we still managed to use the log burner which was a lovely cosy retreat after a day out. Never been to this area before but plenty to do. Visited Dover castle, Canterbury, Broadstairs and even a bit of night time fishing from the beach within easy walking distance. Would recommend to all...though we might never get booked in again!!!!

“Brilliant”
Reviewed 1 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Booked this 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, unit with off street parking through Tripadvisor without any hassles. Anna was prompt and friendly and has created a fantastic getaway. The unit is located next door to Anna’s house but the way it has been designed you would think that the whole place is yours. Anna thoughtfully provided enough supplies to get us started including for example fresh bread and milk, jams and even butter. The pantry is well stocked with other essentials like alfoil, salt, pepper, decent cooking utensils and plenty of crockery. She has really gone out of her way to make this place welcoming. Wifi was included.

The bathrooms were great, the beds comfy, heating efficient, kitchen a decent size, had a washing machine and dryer and the view across the channel breathtaking. Even if it rains, it is just a fabulous excuse to put the fire on and read a book, every now and then you can check out the changing sea and sky.

It is just a 10 minute drive from a 24 hour Tesco for supplies and about the same again to Dover. There are some great walks right out of the back gate.

Without hesitation we would stay here again. Sadly our biggest mistake was to be here for only three nights. If it is ever up for sale we are moving overseas to live here!

“Book early to avoid disappointment!”
Reviewed 12 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Like the last poster, I'm a returning visitor to Bienvenue. The guest book is full of comments saying that this is the best holiday home people have ever stayed in - and rightly so. Last year I decided to book after reading a review that said if you're thinking about it just do it but now it's so popular (with many returning visitors) it speaks for itself.

What do you get? Amazing views (I shall bore my friends with my photos of the sunrise and France by night); a beautifully furnished, well equipped, high-spec place to stay and a professional, friendly customer service approach. The owers of Bienvenue really know what they are doing and it makes everything so easy and enjoyable.
