The location is excellent and in waking distance to good shopping and restaurants. Loved that it is attached to the theater. Odd checking location. Libby not impressive, but the room was spacious and had everything I needed.

Perfect location in an old lovely building with Hampton service and comfort. Loved being so close to State Street, theater, great restaurants ... all within walking distance. We parked our car and didn't need it until we left.

We stayed at the Hampton Majestic 4 nights on a vacation to explore Chicago and see Hamilton. The hotel is PERFECT - small, intimate, quiet, comfortable, and so friendly. The staff made efforts to make the clients comfortable - everyone reached out, including maid staff, front desk, concierge, valet. It is the best location - only a couple blocks from Millennium Park, the Art Institute, the Navy Pier, the Lake, great restaurants and rooftop bars, river walk, and the CTA (subway). So convenient from O'Hara airport - hop the blue line direct to the hotel. We walked right next door to the most beautiful theatre where Hamilton was playing - no lines - no wait. As with other Hampton Inns, the beds were FANTASTIC. I highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor - 21st - VERY quiet, only 8 rooms.

The hotel is wonderfully situated, being attached to the theater, and as others have mentioned, is a lifesaver at intermission, as you can use the hotel lobby level restrooms. The bathroom lines were outside of the theater, and many patrons missed the beginning of Act II. Hotel is average when it comes to amenities, but also, priced accordingly. Good: valets at front door, comfortable beds, although the pillows are horrible. Bathroom not overly clean, and no one likes standing in a tub to shower. The shower curtain does not prevent water from splashing on the bathroom floor, so you end up doing some housekeeping. Also, the towels were the thinnest, most worn that I've experienced since Boy Scout camp. Front desk clerk very businesslike and efficient, but not a hint of welcoming friendliness.

I loved the Hilton Honors app allowing you to choose your room in advance, check-in and receive a digital key so that if you wish, you can bypass any interaction at the front desk. Breakfast was fine, though very crowded. Wish the "to go" bags were available on weekends instead of just M-F.

For a 2 night stay with a 20 year old son, the 2 queen, standard room was fine. If you're looking for romance and upscale luxury amenities, would suggest looking elsewhere.

We stayed at the Hampton Majestic hotel June 10-14, 2018 while on a family sightseeing trip of Chicago and to see Hamilton! Our room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! The marble in the hotel was beautiful and our daughters loved the free hot breakfast each day. Complimentary coffee was always available in the lobby which is a plus for my husband and me. Warm cookies were also a nice treat in the afternoon when we returned to our room before going out for the evening.
