The Holiday Jones was one of the best parts of my trip to Chicago. My room also was as expected, Bathrooms were also clean and the most helpful amd friendly staff. I would highly recomend Holiday Jones. Something it really bothered me was my room neighbors, kids running throu the isle, babies crying, and noisy people. This hotel is not a place to stay all day, or a place to vacation with the fam.

The place could atleast have a personal bathroom, rooms are very small and you can listen to what everyone else is doing around which was very annoying. The most annoying part was while talking in the front desk because they play music and speakers are right infront of you beneath the desk. Finally I moved out of chicago to a 3 star hotel 30 minutes away for for an extra 10 dollars.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we're so sorry to hear that your stay was anything less than amazing. Holiday Jones offers rooms with shared bathrooms as well as rooms with private bathrooms; when booking, guests can choose which type of accommodations they would like. We find that many of our guests prefer to save money on the room rate by booking the shared bathroom. We sincerely apologize if any surrounding noise was a disturbance, and we do offer complimentary ear plugs at the front desk.

Liked the style, the place had a nice style to it and was extremely clean with a nice little restaurant/coffee shop on the bottom floor, and it was well priced for 2 of us to split a room. Can't ask for much more!

We had a group of 8 staying at this hostel, and Holiday Jones was professional and extremely helpful from reservation to beyond check out. Things that stood out:
- Allowed us to make changes to our reservation as late as the week before, hassle-free
- Check-in was ready even before we had anticipated
- They had hair dryers available for use. Super nice not to have to pack!
- Someone was manning the desk 24/7
- They allowed us to have breakfast early, and even gave us some bagels for the road
Highly recommend!

Location was fantastic to get around. Although not in the loop in only took 20/30 minutes to get to almost all the spots I wanted to get too. The staff were friendly and helpful when you had questions about what to do or where to go. I had to ask for an extra blanket as it was really cold over night. There's a few downsides though as the plug sockets in the room seemed to be in odd locations and there definitely wasn't enough of them either. The shower in room needed work but the ones along the corridor looked fairly new and were a lot nicer. Fairly pricey for what it was. I have paid less for much better places before. Beds look homemade almost and a basic free breakfast was a nice touch
