A great way to see how the "other half live". Well, for me it was a great chance to enjoy people watching and being on an iconic street.

Took students here after doing service just for them to be a part of the city energy. They don't have to buy stuff. Just walking around and sightseeing is enough for them.

Our hotel was walking distance, making it even better. We appreciated the selection along with the police presence. We felt safe and relaxed at all hours of the day and night.

My hotel was here for a conference. You can find everything you need nearby, but don’t rely on your phone to navigate you. The buildings will cause your app to spin, which is quite daunting for a weary traveler.

We came downtown by train from the suburbs for a change of pace to spend a couple of days in the city for the holidays. We walked from Union Station to the Chicago Symphony for their wonderful Christmas Concert, afterwards walking north on Michigan Avenue past the glorious Chicago Christmas Tree.
Although a typical cold and beautiful evening we enjoyed our walk along Michigan Avenue, shopping, great steak dinner, a Christmas Jazz concert, and a warm and lovely stay at a boutique hotel right off Michigan Avenue. Christmas Delight!
