I stayed down on earth while several enjoyed spectacular views. The kids loved in. All excited coming down from top. No reason to be apprehensive. But, glad I stayed down!!

Really enjoyed our time at the top of the tower sipping cocktails. Best to leave it for a few days, then you will be able to spot the sights easier. There is a ride experience at the top where you lean against the windows which then swivel from the top. Personally preferred the cocktails.

Get a CityPass and save yourself some time and money. There is a city pass line. At the time we went, the city pass was 15 minutes and the general admission was 60 minutes. Your pictures are taken when you first get in line. ($30 for a package) Once you go up the elevator, there is no organization and no city pass line. There are four skydecks, but most people line up at the first two skydecks. Keep to your left and go around the corner to two other skydecks and the lines are shorter. We went after 5pm and we still had to wait an hour in line. It was such an unorganized mess! I suggest you go late at night right before they close. Save yourself some frustration! It was definitely worth the view! The view was breathtaking. Our pictures came our amazing.

You have to go up to the top and feel what it is like. I'm not a fan of heights but was able to walk around staying from the windows and was fine. My family was able to get there pics taken standing on a clear glass ledge. There is a line in order to do this. Recommend going first thing in the morning to avoid heavy wait times. Part of the Chicago Pass Ticket and worth it. Pressed Pennies available in the gift shop on the way out.

How can you visit the city and not stop here. Amazing views (obviously). The best part was that first step in to a glass box 103 floors up. It makes for a great photo op, and lots of nervous laughter. Check it out if you have a chance!
