Visited Donga Gali for the first time with family and saw the outside of Amore Hotel which looked very nice. Stepped inside and we were not told the rate per night despite asking, told to check the room instead. We paid 7000 rupees for one night and were given room 303. The conman taking the money off us changed the price to 8000 and we were shocked that you had just quoted a different price. He agreed on 7000 and we went to room 303 which was the most disgusting room I have ever seen despite travelling the world. The room was filled with damp, water coming from the walls, dirty floors, and the most smelly stinking bedsheets and duvet which were not possible to sleep in. The TV and fridge didn't work. There was dust everywhere in the room and the room was a place for diseases to grow. Hence after calling reception twice to complain and nobody coming, my mother went to reception and brought down the staff. As a family we showed the room and they appeared to be shocked. They said they themselves wouldn't be able to sleep in the room. They highlighted that the manager Naveed Nasar was not helpful and was not interested in the improvement as the hotel is on lease. The deputy manager who CONNED us Mr Riaz is disgusting. No morals. I will never again visit Amore Hotel and have and will continue to tell friends and family about the atrocities we went through. I have never seen before such a disgusting room and I cannot believe it's deemed ok to give such a room which doesn't pass health and safety rules. Never again.

This hotel is a great place to come if you'd like to ruin your vacation. The rooms smell and are extremely dirty. The staff is rude.

We checked in and informed the staff of the dirty rooms. They assured us that our room would be cleaned. 3 hours later and nothing's changed.

We demanded that they refund our money and check us out of the hotel. They refused and told us that this would not be possible unless we give them 50% of the room cost (for the three hours).

So go ahead. Stay at Amore. Ruin your vacation.

Our stay at the Amore 2 weeks ago was quite interesting. It had snowed the day before which is why the hotel had stored away their gas heaters and extra blankets. Since we're from Karachi, -4 was extremely cold for us. After begging for more than 2 hours, we finally got gas heaters. We used them for 2 hours but had to turn them off before sleeping due to the health hazards associated with it. So the room was chilly the entire night. In the morning, there was no hot water due to electricity outage.

Despite these shortcomings, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were tidy, the view from the hotel was beautiful and the staff was courteous.

The service is good and the food options are okay as well. The rooms are clean but a bit pricy considering various options nearby. The dining room, balcony and bbq options are really good. The view from balcony is mesmerizing.

Its a good hotel in the area. Great location. Lovely executive rooms with views if you ask. Food is great. But the service is a flaw, its very very slow. Like you have to wait too much for your food. Otherwise no problem.
Yummy breakfast buffet includes almost every breakfast item.
