This is one of our favorite places to launch our kayaks. You can go upstream (which is just as easy as downstream since the wind is almost always at your back) and paddle under the Perrine Bridge, watch the BASE jumpers up close, and on up to Pillar Falls. Or you can paddle downstream to Auger Falls. Either way is gorgeous paddling!

Centennial Park (free...close to Perrine Bridge) has a tricky trail around an excellent waterfall. There are many other trails, short and long. There is also a kids playground, a boat launch (and rentals), etc. Hikers with a short time would likely better enjoy this location vs the paved rim trail. One negative was the abundance of graffiti that defaced many of the rocks.

If you like nature this is a spot for you! Access to the snake river! Great place to hike, hold gatherings and more! There is a canopy area you can secure as well!

Great views and a great bicycle ride for the truly fit cyclist. I rode down and back up, it ranges from 10 to 19.5% gradient, so steep! I was the third fastest in my age group! There is lots to do recreation and up on top there is a nice visitors center, fun place!
