Great RV park for North Idaho adventures

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 07 Aug 2019
This RV park is well located right off the freeway in Osburn. The only negative is a bit of freeway noise and they have no control over that. It is very well maintained and clean with bathrooms and showers. Management is very responsive to all our needs.

Even though we arrived AFTER the office was closed, without an official reservation, bewildered, exhausted and not knowing what to do next, we were greeted by an angel with strawberry blonde curls, coming toward us with arms extended! It turned out that Wendy had received our message earlier but couldn't reply back because we were out of cell phone range. No worries!! She welcomed us like the flowers in May! She and her dear husband, Brad directed us into our beautiful, manicured gravel site (#2) under giant shade trees. We loved every minute of our two day visit! Wendy and Brad literally work from dawn to dusk (and beyond) to keep their property in top top condition! We were equally impressed by their tireless passion to make sure all of their RV guests have a perfect stay! We send them our love and hugs with much gratitude! It was an honor to be at the Blue Anchor!

We stayed at Blue Anchor with a camping group in June. Blue Anchor is quite small and was a bit overwhelmed with the large group but they were amazing in their attempts to make everyone fit. The planned location for our motorhome was too small and the owners went above and beyond to find a site that would work for us and our dogs and would be near our group. It's clear that these newer owners are trying very hard to fix up an older campground and are doing a great job of it. Their attitude of doing everything they can to make customers feel welcome and comfortable is wonderful.

On a recent trip east on I-90, stopped in this great little RV park just off I-90 before Wallace, Idaho. Well maintained, very friendly hosts. Not much to do in town, but make sure you eat at Mom's, the sole cafe. Breakfasts are the bomb.

wow! I've never been given more a second- class treatment as a tent camper than this RV park. Though I paid slightly less than an RV, there wasn't even a picnic table when I arrived and the tent area is an amorphous space next to the busy road where you have to figure our where your site begins/ends. While the employees were very nice, if you are a tent camper, try to find a proper campground

Have stayed here a couple of times when traveling through the area. Great Park between Kellog and Wallace Idaho. Small in size with some permanent residents. Excellent hospitality. Accommodating staff and owners. Restrooms are clean. I highly recommend this park if you’re passing through the area. Won’t regret it.
