“Nature, but not too much”

Tom Triplett Community Park
Ranked #3 of 4 things to do in Pooler

This is a nicely developed park, with several nice walking/hiking trails. It's not far from developed areas, but is set back from the road enough that you feel removed from the rush of traffic. The path around the lake is one of the longest in the county park system so you get a nice walk, and there are a few trails through the woods for longer strolls (watch out for bikers!) Not too many other activities available, but there is a picnic shelter for groups that need a place to gather. A well-maintained getaway for a few quiet hours.

I really enjoy bringing my family here! Great for families with small children. I bring my dogs here to run the track they have around the actual park (no off leash though)

Ton of great scenery to look at as well as a small playground for my kids! Also tennis court and disk golf course.

Started going here after my job sent me to Pooler. Nice track around a healthy lake...perfect for a lunchtime walk. Plenty of room and easy to get to right off Hwy 80.
