Neat place to take your family for a day of just walking the trails and seeing the attractions. Ther3 are some great places to eat including great treats along the way through the attraction.

They have basically taken what is a lovely but of landscape, added some beautiful gardens and made it a tourist attraction. I think the manmade aspects -- like garden gnomes and other such displays-- detract from the natural beauty. It also gets a pretty good crowd, even on a weekday which is not to my taste. We were not into the fairytale and nursery rhyme aspects but I could see that it might fascinate smaller children. Dog friendly.

I provided a separate review for Rock City overall, but it is worth adding a review for the variety of plants you will see throughout the attraction. There are supposedly 400 indigenous varieties preserved here. Many are marked with signs. Enjoy!

Just UNBELIEVABLE!! I thought we would stop off for an hour or so on our way to Gatlinburg, but we did the better part of the day! The views are JAW DROPPING! And the site was so much more than I thought. The fairy gardens and everything were waaaay better than I anticipated. Definitely eat at the outdoor cafe; the view is astonishing and the food is GREAT!!! Definitely a MUST DO!!
