Beautiful site. Excellent adventure for our grown children and grandchildren. Handicap and stroller accessibility much more limited than identified in Web site. We were nor able to see the wonderful fairy gardens etc as we had a strolder and a scooter for my husband. Really only able to access a small area and lookout mountain. Be aware of this if you travel with either. Limitations were not identified when we purchased tickets and we only learned of actual restrictions when we entered the gift shop which is the starting point. Adult children and older grandchild loved the trails.

I am just old enough to remember seeing barns in the south with "See Rock City" painted on the roofs. I finally did see Rock City, with my children ages 11 and 14, and it was a beautiful and fun place to explore!

Rock City consists mainly of walkways through some really cool rock formations. The walkways are paved and maps are provided to make sure you see everything. And there is a lot to see! I particularly enjoyed the narrow chasms, the swing-a-long bridge, and the spectacular Lovers Leap, High Falls and Cliff Terrace, from which you can supposedly see up to seven states. The walkways also include some whimsical man-made additions with gnomes and fairy tale vignettes. It's kitschy, but still fun!

I highly recommend that you "See Rock City!"

After a disappointing time at Ruby Falls we were all exhausted. Our spirits were lifted instantly. This place is beyond amazing! Views that are breathtaking. You can grab a bite to eat at the top of the mountain and enjoy the view. Highly recommend

The views are amazing! Not a place for anyone that has difficulties with stairs. There are a lot of stone steps to climb. Also, did not realize it was pet friendly but is.
