This cabin was a little scary to get to and get up the driveway - the road to it is VERY narrow and the driveway is VERY steep (at least for flatland Floridians like us) - we drive a huge Ford truck, so yeah, a little hairy. The Ellijay area is quaint and we were there during their annual "apple festival" time. Lots of cute shops and eateries in the town and we also visited Mercier Orchard. The cabin was peaceful and relaxing, being that close to the creek and hearing the water rushing was just amazing. It was a little cold for us though, lows in the 40's - and the bedroom was on the bottom floor so the heat didn't really work so great down there.
Very dissapointed in the uncleanliness of this cabin. Bed was made but sheets were dirty. During covid pandemic bedspreads were not washed. Visibly dirty. Stair railing was filthy. Took multiple antibacterial wipes to clean. What else wasn't clean? Spoke to owner who was very defensive insisting all was clean despite pictures that I sent to him. Checked in late, although sheets were dirty he would not bring clean ones. Creek was beautiful but not deep enough to tube.
Great cabin, nice amenities. Wonderful view of the creek, very scenic. Only problem we had was we came in very late at night in a rain storm and we could not find the location in the dark. Suggest owners put a sign at the bottom of the driveway with the house number. Otherwise recommend this cabin, its beautiful, clean and would definitely stay here again.
Very cozy and clean. Sit on the front deck and listen to the stream flow by. We enjoyed walking in it as well. Easy to find and all good roads.
