We had a wonderful weekend. It was everything we love about camping - cooking and eating outside, campfires, being in nature, being away from distractions and spending time with those who we love; without everything we hate about camping - sharing toilets and showers, a busy campsite, sleeping on the floor, no head room to stand etc. We loved it and would definitely return. The hosts were warm, friendly and the perfect amount of attentive, the beds were amazing - so comfy- and the fact we needed a trailer to take our luggage whilst we walked to the tent was a magical start.
We also did the air rifle shooting which was great value for money and everyone reported enjoying.
There is so much to do in the local area as well - far more than we imagined.
I can't recommend Hidden Meadows enough.

I stayed at Hidden Meadows with a group of friends, because of the size we had the two tents to ourselves which was great. The site is secluded and nicely tucked away so we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone with our campfire, bbq and noise that you get with a group of friends.

Ian and Lynn were very helpful, Lynn especially through the booking and being very quick at replying any questions that I had. Ian also took some of the group fishing which they really enjoyed.

The tents themselves were lovely, better than some hotels that we've stayed it. They had every thing we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We had no problem staying warm during the night with thick duvets and extra throws.

Finding the site and location to the coast, shops etc was really good.

Bathroom facilities were good, nice and clean. We had problems with the sink/shower draining but after feeding that back Lynn confirmed it was due to the pump battery running out of charge.

Only negative was the eco toilets got a bit full so by the end of the weekend we didn't want to use them to much. But having been a regular festival goer they were still fine for me.

Would recommend and happily visit again.

We stayed here for a weekend as a group of 11 for my hen party. The site is amazing, the tents are immaculate and furnished so beautifully. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were some lovely touches like the homemade cake and welcome pack in the tents. We had a couple of local lads come in to do some songs around our campfire which was fantastic. We also did some jewelry making which was great fun and the afternoon tea which Lynne did herself. It was fabulous. The owners are such lovely people and so helpful and welcoming. They drive our ridiculous quantity of luggage to the site for us and came to light out campfire etc. Really genuine kind people. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my friends and family to have some fun and relax for my hen weekend. The sun was shining the site was beautiful and every one of our party was in love with the place! Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

We travelled as a group of 6 ladies, for our friends hen weekend. A couple of the ladies had never camped before which was entertaining enough. This is nothing like camping, luxury throughout. We stayed in the large tent Nightingale.

Beds we're comfy and the bed linen like top hotel standards. Towels are provided, large and hand towel along with your own flannel. Everything was well thought out in the kitchen, kitchen utensils and BBQ bits. Had everything including tea, coffee and sugar. Kitchen roll, washing up liquid and tea towels. Cafetière for fresh coffee and the home made cake was delicious with a cup of tea. Lots of plates and mugs so you don't have to keep washing up. There is also a fridge which can store quite a bit in it.
Inside you have a log burner which was lovely at night, they also provide a bag of marshmallows which is a nice touch. Large sofa which can be made into a double sofa bed, extra charge for bed linen. Along with a dining room table for 6.
Large supply of wood on arrival, additional bags were £5.00 if needed, which Lynne or Ian would deliver straight to you.
The eco toilet we were a little unsure of at first, it's honestly ok. Doesn't smell after a few uses either! Shower is also powerful and warm enough to wash your hair and stand under for a little soak.
Outside cooking area is lovely and clean with a little gas hob and oven, BBQ area and a fire pit which was perfect of a night with marshmallows. Seating was lovely a large double sun lounger, stumps made into little seating area around the fire. Also chairs on the veranda, plenty.
We loved the chickens which are provided free of charge, they are a little loud at times but added to the fun when checking to see if we had fresh eggs.

All in all it was the perfect hen weekend. Totally recommend it for groups or families. The local area is beautiful and not far from a local Morrisons for a food shop.

We are looking to re book for next year and use both the tents.

We stayed here for a hen do as a group of 11. Beautiful accommodation, clean, v high quality interiors and soft furnishings. Set in a beautiful location. Loved having our very own supply of eggs from our girls. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea and acoustic music by the camp fire. Shall definately revisit sometime soon
