I travelled to Florida with my fiancee for work and decided to extend our stay to enjoy a little R & R. We have used AirB&B in the past and we found this gorgeous home to not only meet, but to exceed our expectations. Once I had concluded my account meetings we were able to enjoy the home and the pool. The home is spacious and has a great floor plan....it is also beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful visit and were able to enjoy a couple of the local restaurants in the village. Also found in the village was a fitness center that included everything you need; the staff was very friendly and helpful too. The nearby beach, only minutes away, was easily accessible by bike and we found the bikes to be a huge bonus.
In Summary, we had a lovely stay and we will return!
This is a beautiful home a short bike ride to Siesta Beach. It comfortably sleeps 8 on beds in 3 large rooms. 2 of the rooms have a glass door that opens up to the pool and massive outdoor patio, there is even a small waterfall. The living space inside was big and there were 3 TVs (one very large one) for me to watch March Madness. The home is at the end of a dead-end street surrounded by a small pond. It was very very very private and a great escape to relax and tan buy the pool. Judith (the owner) was very helpful. We will visit again!!!
My 2 year old son, wife and I biked to the beach almost every morning (about 7 minutes) and spent the afternoons by the pool. At night the outdoor lighting made the pool area a great place to sit and have a glass of wine. (In town we loved the tuna tacos at The Cottage...sooo good).
Biking with the baby carriage was a very enjoyable way to go to the beach. The beach is ~1.2 miles away and the town main intersection is ~1 mile away. We did walk to town but honestly the bikes were a lot of fun. We drove to the beach once but parking is not easy during prime time.
It is a great house and we enjoyed our stay very much.
