Great for couples and families. The beach has individual parking which you have to pay for. I seen mostly adults, little to no children. Seems like a romantic spot for older couples walking along the beach while the sunsets. It’s not crowded at all and in the middle there a beach shop that rents out paddle boards and floats, did I mention there a shower and restroom right next to it.

Awesome public brach within a short drive of downtown St. Petersburg. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance.

You have to go to this small area at the south end of the St Pete Beach island called Pass-a-Grille. It's a lovely community. The shops are great, some nice arts and crafts shops to get locally made stuff. Several restaurants to get beach food - sandwiches, salads, etc. and the beach is great. Time to spend there depends on how much time you spend at the beach!

Great place to have breakfast on the beach. It was inexpensive and delicious! Then rent a cabana for the day and listen to the waves.

We found this area 5 years ago and come back every year. Its a perfect little beach community, not over commercialized. Small Hotels, a few restaurants and clean quiet beach. We park at our Inn and usually walk everywhere. Paradise grill is great for breakfast, lunch, and evening drinks. Hurricane has good grouper sandwich, Paradise sweets has really good ice cream and Merry Pier is the place to go for fishing or shell key shuttle. Pass-a-Grill is my go to place for a relaxing vacation.
