Description: Family-owned and operated for more than 114 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Red Snapper "Alicante" and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Please visit our website for the most current menu listings.

This restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants to go to while in St. Augustine. The ambience is wonderful in this historic area. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. The only issue I had was that it took a little too long for the food to come out. Other than that, the food delicious!

Always a great experience. Great food and very friendly service. Must haves: the 1905 salad, the sangria (any one of them all good) and any dessert!

We have been long time customers of the Columbia and this location is the worst of them all. The restaurant is beautiful. The atmosphere is incredible, probably the best of any restaurant, anywhere. The drinks are also incredible, great margaritas, sangria and cocktails. You will find much better Latin food at pretty much any small family Latin restaurant. I have tried the fish entrees, the roast pork, the crab cakes and all were below average and uneventful. Even the black beans and rice were uneventful. Our server on this visit had an attitude and purposely overcharged us on 2 items. Instead of helping customers with their order they seem intent on padding the bill. Make sure you order clearly with the server and ask for clarifications or options. Management should adjust this culture.

They waitress suggested a lobster meat and chorizo flatbread that I was a little skeptical about and was pretty sure was going to cost my left arm... but wow... so good!! And less than $15... the sangria was prepared at the table and we got a full history of the restaurant from the lady helping us! Lunch and dinner only, but well worth the wait!!

Reasonably priced for a very good lunch, on a hot day. My husband and I had the lunch special of Cuban sandwich and good soup. Came with large pickle and coleslaw. Add a lemonade and it was perfect. Ambience is great. Cool break from sightseeing.
