We had a wonderful time at the Cape and will be returning specifically to this unit! Wendy is great to work with and everything we needed was there for us. Can't beat this beachfront view of gorgeous sunsets!
This unit is in a great location and the community offers many amenities (pool, tennis), but the unit is outdated, needs some repairs and heavy maintenance, and was therefore overpriced for what you get.
•The proximity to the beach was excellent
•The beds were comfortable
•There were ample towels and other linens
•The kitchen had lots of dishes and tools
•Instructions and directions provided were very good, with the exception of the television
•The grill worked great
•Dog friendly unit and beach
•The entire unit, especially the third floor, smelled of pet urine. I think the carpet needs a good cleaning or maybe even replacement.
•The sofa was badly stained and again, I think it was pet accidents.
•The AC did not keep up with the demand. It ran the entire time and never really pulled the moisture out of the unit. Everything was sticky. I live in Florida and know this is not how it has to be if you have a good AC unit.
•The unit definitely needs updating; everything from the appliances to the bathrooms.
•Very limited supply of games and movies, contrary to the advertisement
•The instructions for the television or not accurate. We had to use trial and error to get it working.
•Checkout is 10:00 a.m., very early for some of us.
Overall, I think the rates were too high for what you get. I was expecting a more polished, appealing, and comfortable unit. I don't know if we will consider returning, at least to that particular unit, unless some improvements are made.
