“Potentially a great location, but entitled neighbors ruin the experience.”
Review of Cape San Blas

We arrived on June 24th, 2018. As we backed our tiny Uhaul trailer into the enclosed carport, we noticed an older man stop in front of our car and circle our house twice while he stared at us. Even though our Uhaul was completey hidden underneath our house, an owner of one of the condos made us move our Uhaul 10 minutes down the road or get a fine of $100. After two days, our refrigerator refused to get cold, and we barely had enough water pressure to flush a toilet. Luckily the beach was beautiful and stopped the trip from being a complete disaster. Also, pools close as early as dusk, and playing quiet music during sunset resulted in an older woman coming down from her house yelling at us for making noise past dusk. If you are under the age of 65, do yourself a favor and don't vacation here unless you want to constantly be berated by retirees. Although the location and beaches are great, the community completely ruins the experience, so I will be taking my money elsewhere next time. I advise you do the same.

There were so many good things I could say about this wonderful place, but we couldn't get comfortable on the beach...We were there in October ... perfect time of year weather wise, but so difficult to enjoy the beach. We were attacked regularly by the biting flies.

This area is, by far, the most peaceful place we have vacationed in years! It is wonderful to enjoy the beach without being crowded by people. It is laid back with no light pollution at night, so we loved seeing the stars. The peace and quiet was just what we needed!

I was blown away by how well this community has preserved the natural vegetation and kept it simple and rustic. What a beautiful natural wonder. We painted here for an artists plein air convention and truly did not want to leave. Can not wait to go back. We loved the low country boil at Skully’s, I think they have 3 items on there menu...low country boil, shrimp and shrimp. absolutely delicious.

Got 6BR, 6BAhouse with elevator for less than half of Hwy. 30A places, but the trade off is you are in the middle of nowhere. That said, Enjoyed week off the beaten path. The Trading Post offered EVERYTHING you could possibly want even at a much larger city food store. The pontoon boat rental out of the state party was fun. Cape and Coast Realty was excellent as a rental agent and responsive to all requests. Pet friendly too.
