This place is settled in the middle of Fantasy Land. Its a huge place but you must book. We turned up with a booking and still had to queue but those who did not were sent away.

The order process is fascinating. All electronic. You order your meal on entry at a terminal. You are given a electronic tag and you go find a table in the two huge rooms. The waiter finds you using the tag's signal.

Food is OK, nothing special but after 4 or 5 hours of walking around it fits the bill light and simple. The quiches were very good with salad. Croque Monsieur the same very good.

Air conditioning was full on and soon cooled you down.

Now, to start - the beginning line is inefficient and slow. But, once you get through the wait, the rest of the experience is nice.

Both my husband and daughter have celiac disease, and the cast members were very accommodating in providing food options to fit their allergy. Once you order and pay with a cast member, you have the choice of three dining rooms - the West Wing, the ballroom, and a general "catch all" room. We snagged a table in the West Wing, which was marvelous. The West Wing is the smallest of the dining areas, and it was dark, quiet, and cool (given it was 96 degrees outside), which was a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the Magic Kingdom. We were able to calm down and relax, rare in a theme park.

The food was delivered by a cast member on a rolling cart similar to the one shown in the animated movie. The theming is awesome. There was a picture of the "beast" before he was cursed, and every so often, during the rumble of thunder, the picture would show the beast the prince was inside....very clever.

I highly recommend. If the FastPass is sold out for the restaurant, be sure to check the day before for cancellations. That is how we managed to eat here.

when be our guest originally opened in 2013 i wanted to go, but no one in my large party could agree, so we ended up at another walt disney world restaurant instead. a couple trips later, my group size decreased & i was finally able to finesse my way into going. i have been there 2 times now & have enjoyed my experience both times!! i find that both the food & the service are lovely & the setting is ideal and storybook-like. it’s a ton of fun even if you’re not a fan of beauty and the beast, it feels as though you’ve stepped straight into the animated film. i couldn’t recommend this enough if you or anyone in your party is a beauty and the beast fan (if they’re really into beauty and the beast, go for dinner because then you can meet the beast before you dine in his castle!) or if you’re just looking for a nice lunch or dinner in some air conditioning.

We did not attend the full dinner service, but a quick service lunch. This was a very tasty way to take a break from the heat of the Magic Kingdom. My husband’s French dip and my Croque Monseur were both excellent. You simply must have dessert. The Master’s Cupcake is not to be missed as it is topped with the iconic “grey stuff” from the restaurant’s namesake song. (It really is delicious. Between my husband and kids sneaking bites of mine, I barely got any!) The service is excellent, especially considering it wasn’t even a table service visit. The atmosphere alone makes this a great stop.

We ate here for the quick service lunch which we pre-ordered. The check in process was smooth, we chose a table and then waited for the food to be delivered. Service was hit and miss as one in our party was missing their entrée for a good 10 minutes. We told several staff but waited and waited until it finally arrived. We ordered the grilled ham and cheese and the French dip and both tasted pretty average. The cupcakes for dessert were absolutely delicious. Overall we enjoyed our visit here for the wonderful atmosphere and experience.
