Staying at the hotel during a large Microsoft conference. While I understand that business revenue is worth far more than an average recreational stay, the way this hotel treats it's regular guests is terrible.
How so? Want to have breakfast? Sorry, main restaurant is closed for the conference "crew". Have you opened up another venue? No - go to the market where you can get overpriced terrible hot sandwiches.
Want to have dinner? Sorry, the venue is blocked for the event. Ok, go to the pool for dinner. Oh sorry, we closed the kitchen early because there weren't a lot of people. Really??
Complaining to management elicited a "sorry - you can always order room service". Ugh. I can't wait to hear the generic "We'll do better if you give us another chance" response to this review.
Bottom line: Call and ask if there is a conference. If there is run far away!More
