Large and spacious rooms. But the bedrooms had old carpets with a nasty smell. Not to mention that 2 family members were eaten alive by bedbugs.
Moving to another room and 3 days credit will not compensate our ruined christmas vacation. Not to mention returning home all bitten by bedbugs

I sincerely apologize for the bed bugs in the unit. We do follow all pest control protocol to eliminate pest including bed bugs. I am sorry that we fell short of our guest satisfaction standards for you during your stay. I hope we can welcome you back and exceed your expectations.

I woke up this morning to a pile of ants on my kitchen counter. Given the counter was clean and didn’t leave any food out, there shouldn’t be any ants at all at any resort. The photos provided were after I cleaned most of the ants. I do not recommend this resort, you’ll pay a cleaning fee and a resort fee but these fees certainly do not go toward pest control. There is an odor as if there was mold living in the walls.

I know that a lot of hotels are into charging resort fees but it’s a total scam. It’s just a way to be deceptive in pricing. I somehow overlooked it when I booked. The “resort fee” included parking, internet, and use of the pool. Gee...I stayed at a Hampton Inn the night before and got all that plus a nice breakfast with no ridiculous fee. And let’s also mention $39 cleaning fee for a two night stay. Just be sure you factor all this in when booking to see how the price compares to other hotels.

Aside from that, the place was fine. Our unit was a bit dated. The refrigerator especially was pretty banged up. It did have a nice balcony, plenty of space, and is close to Magic Kingdom. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. It was very comfortable for us.

Thank you for you review. I am sorry for any miscommunications regarding additional fees at our resort.
I am happy to hear you enjoyed the hotel overall though. The spacious units as well as the location to Magic Kingdom. I hope we will see you again!

This is our second stay at this resort. Last year went off without a hitch, so we selected it again for our extended weekend this year. Unfortunately, it left much to be desired. Our room keys didn't work after the first day, because the lock battery died. 12 hours later, when we retuned, the lock still had not been repaired and we were stuck until it was fixed. The bigger issue was the bedbugs. They ate one of our suitemates alive and she was covered in bites. Following confirmation from her doctor, she called resort management to lodge a complaint. It took three calls from her to get a response. They acknowledged there had been bedbugs, but since the room was not in her name but our friend's name ( who also stayed in the suite) what did she expect management to do about it. (Better customer service training would be a start). Bottom line: Stay here if you desire, just know that you may end up with your very own painful, itchy souvenirs.

Room tip: Ask when the last time the room had been cleaned for critters.

I can not apologize enough for the Bed Bugs that were in your unit, I am truly sorry. Please keep in mind that bedbugs do not discriminate and even though we follow the pest control protocol in place they may have come into the unit from another guest immediately before you and were missed by housekeeping. Again I am so sorry. We do take every precaution to protect our guest and their belongings from them. I am sorry about the customer service you experienced during your stay as well. I am unsure of the manager you spoke with but that is not up to our standards. We want every guest to leave happy with us and I am sorry you did not get that experience from us.

There for a friend and family trip. Bed bugs in unit. Manager’s response was shocking and unprofessional. “The room wasn’t rented in your name was it?” In a three bedroom unit do you usually rent to everyone in the room. Most hotels have one or two names . Btw, I don’t think you’ll find the bed bugs listed on the paperwork either

Thank you for your feedback. We take bed bugs very seriously and take precautions to keep them away, once we get confirmation of bed bugs we do not rent that unit out until they have been taken care of. I do not know what the situation was with the manager that you spoke with but yes we are aware that there is more than one person staying in the room. I am unsure if the manager could not find the room under your name or what occurred but I do apologize that you felt it was unprofessional. This is not up to our standards of customer service.
