Lobby is nothing like photo shown, very small reception area, receptionists speak very little or no english very unhelpful. Reception is also parcel delivery/collection point, so deliveries being taken in all the time, which they find more important. Rooms disgusting, need complete revamp, bath chipped and rusty, floor tiles cracked, windows dirty and frames stained, air condition only works on full and is extremely noisy so unable to leave on at night. Safe is on the floor and very hard to access. One key for each room, kitchen very basic with few utensils. We paid for breakfast but after spending the first 3 breakfasts queuing for the toaster (only 1 toaster for all the guests to use) we gave up, breakfast was a very basic continental breakfast and if you wanted anything else you had to pay extra, cups and plates where plastic and had seen better days. The breakfast area which was also the bar and dining area was run down and needed a complete overhaul. Drinks where very expensive, 1 budweiser and a bacardi and coke was $16 and they charged you a gratuity on top every time you bought and paid for a round. Pool area was ok though loungers had seen better days, pool was freezing and you were unable to spend very long in there before you started shivering thought the temp outside was in the 80's. The stairway had a dangerous fuse box with live cables hanging from it, this was reported but just shrugged off. We have taken photos to back up our review. We will never ever stay at this hotel again

This place was terrible! I'm from NY and Casablanca rated way below my standards when vacationing! This place was like a low-income tenement apartment building! I couldn't wait to leave for my cruise! A complete DUMP

I grew up in Miami Beach. There is a good reason the historic Casablanca is still around. From the moment I drove up, everyone from the valet to the desk clerk was warm, outgoing and professional. It is a beautiful hotel, inside and out. The private hotel-beach and restaurants alone were worth the price of admission. My hotel room faced the water and was clean and attractive. I was proud for my family to come visit me here. I am a writer and will soon publish my novel, "The Fabulous Million Dollar Sandbar," on Amazon Kindle, where-in my childhood memories of this hotel and its pleasant neighborhood where I grew up is the setting. Lots of things have changed, but it is nice to see that this landmark is around and prospering!

Room Tip: Rooms on the upper floors by the water have breath-taking views.

arrived to be checked into a room that had not been cleaned, bins were still full and beds were covered in hair and stains, room was damp with a damp smell, kitchen area was disgusting aswell as toilet, complained to reception who did move us to a fairly better room however still did not meet hotel standards, kitchen appliances were dirty, cooker only one hob worked and microwave had not been cleaned. hotel doors were opened with keys which were extremely difficult to open, hotel had three elevators only one worked took us ten minutes each time to get from room to lobby, housekeeping were rude. lobby gives the hotel false impressions. overall the hotel is very dirty and needs a serious do over.

shout out to danny on reception who was extremely kind and helpful with the room change.

Dear Lisa M,

Our hotel team values guest feedback and we appreciate you sharing yours.
