Took kiddos on a gator hunt. We seen so many animals and birds. Only three Gators but one was eating a crane so that was interesting and educational. The kids enjoyed it and they have plenty of areas to stop for a break.

Get outdoors and enjoy all that nature has to share. This is a small little world of its own just. On our adventure here we ventured into observing alligators, snakes , turtles , and birds territory in wetlands. These wetlands are a way to slow down and enjoy some crisp, fresh air by walking, hiking, running, biking, and/ or drive thru to view some breathtaking natural scenery. This sanctuary will keep you feeling one with nature. There are viewing areas for you to stop and enjoy the day too. This is a free activity. You can donate if you want. If you have 30 minutes or hours, you can take in the boundless peacefulness here among the wildlife in this hidden haven. The landscaping is captivating. Enjoy!

Love coming through this nature preserve. It's peaceful, and beautiful. If you drive through, go slowly. If you don't see anything on your first round, go again, and look closely. There is an abundance of birds, gators, and other creatures!

Have you ever seen an alligator up close?? Good because that's probably not a good idea! However this is a really cool place to see lots of Florida birds and gators in their natural habitat. As you enter, you can walk the loop or drive it. Get there a half our before sundown to see the sunsetting over this beautiful wetland. Bring your camera and binoculars and see the beauty of this wonderful oasis. And did I mention it's free?
