Beach is BIG so there is a lot of room to spread out and enjoy. Pools on property were nice but even during the week chairs were hard to come by. Beautiful though.

Staffing Issues? (1) Check in took a little longer than it really should have since for the first 10 minutes I was in line (on a Sunday around 7 PM) there was only one employee assisting the line of about six parties also waiting to check in. Eventually two more employees came up to assist. (2) Later we went down to Quinn's for a bite to eat but left since no one came to take our order after being seated for about 10 minutes. And, yes, we were seated by a hostess.

Rooms are showing their age a little, but overall nice and seemed clean. Area is beautiful and walking along the beach was superb! (I would definitely recommend shoes as beach has lots of shells closer to the water.). We stayed in a Garden View room which was pretty quiet (other than the hallway noise).

Overall a little expensive for what you get (and parking is $25 self park or $30 valet per day), but beach access was pretty amazing!

This was my first trip since leaving Cabo last March with the pandemic. Normally I travel weekly for business and every couple months for pleasure. Initially we had booked a trip to Cancun but were concerned about Covid issues and being out of the country so we decided on the JW Marriott on Marco. Everything was great and you cannot beat the beach at this property. We felt like the staff were doing everything possible to keep everyone safe while still being friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this property!

Way too expensive for the service you receive. They are a big hotel just shuffling people through. They Cleary do not care about the experience at all. So bad we considered leaving early and switching hotels. They have a horrible “towel card” policy. You need to trade cards for towels at the beach and pool and bring your towels back to get your cards back. Those cards get thrown in a bucket(not cleaned)with every other card then they just randomly hand them back not cleaned. As if this policy wasn’t bad but during COVID it’s just not even responsible. We will never be back. They failed on so many levels but the worst on overall customer service.
