3rd time st AdM, first time in this unit. We love AdM, it's quiet, great location, convenient, small. Our main complaint is the use of outside grills, there's a grill nazi who makes sure you go out on the beach and not on the large patio to grill. She claims the condo rules prohibit grill use within 10' if the property, leaving you grilling on the beach sand! We've seen 3 different units' rules books, and have never seen any reference to any rule of that sort. If the association wanted to draw rental business, they'd install a grill, we've inquired on that.
The unit itself was not as advertised; the LR furniture was not new, the backs were so worn through they were covered with a blanket; all the mattresses were very badly in need of replacement; the kitchen was lacking some basic necessities; the unit needed a thorough cleaning. Some other minor issues we overlooked. There are nicer units here for the same money or less, we've stayed in them.
We also love working with the management company, ITrips, very responsive and accommodating.
But we will be back to AdM, probably not #202 unless there's some changes.
We really loved this place. It was clean, large in size, and had wifi and cable (not that we used either much). The outdoor balcony space was really large and was great for watching the sunsets. We traveled with three adults and a small child, and it was a great place to go right out onto the beach and come back inside for lunch. The condo is located within walking distance (a good little walk) to John's Pass. Also, very close to Highway 666 (only a few blocks) which gets you to Clearwater and Tampa. The washer and dryer worked fine, but the heating element in the dryer is starting to go out, but that can be easily fixed. The new beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are functional and serve the purpose. There were plenty of towels for all of us to use. The kitchen was spacious, and there were plenty of places to eat and hang out. We loved it here, and would stay again! :)
