Such a spacious rooms and a lovely decorated place. So many things to do on-site at the resort to keep all ages entertained with fun and food. Would certainly re-visit again for the next family outing.

We enjoyed our stay in a 2 bedroom suite this May. The room was nice and large and overall very clean. We were a little put off by some stains on the couch and carpet though (so much so that we flipped the cushions over so we didn't have to see them). The front desk was nice and helpful. The large slide at one of the pools had a height limit of 48", so our daughter couldn't use it and it was blocked off since it wasn't manned at the time. Also, they told us on the phone that the zipline and stuff at Castaway Cove was a 42" height requirement and that it was included in the stay for free, but when we checked in they told us it was changed to 48" and it costs $15 per person per day, so our daughter was really disappointed. The larger lighthouse pool was heated and very nice though.

Furniture with numerous stains. The sofa was dirty and sunken, the cushions had no life left in them. sitting on the sofa was equivalent to sitting on the floor.  We took the extra sheets and covered the furniture because it was so dirty. pictures available upon request.

We reserved a 3 bedroom villa (your best room). Upon arrival we found a very dirty room. Dust was everywhere as if no one ever cleaned the room. The microwave was dirty. The pantry was dirty and the shelves were broken. Dishes in the cabinet (supposedly clean) were dirty & greasy. Water damage was seen on the floor/wall in the dining area and the kickplate in the kitchen was damaged/ rotting and kicked in. All of the smoke detectors were missing in the whole unit. Hair was everywhere in the master bathroom. The whole time, all we heard was very loud banging on the ceiling as if elephants were constantly running across the floor above us, constantly. We understand that children play on vacation, but the units should be more insulated/soundproof and we shouldn't hear it so loud and clearly. We were unhappy but willing to settle for this room as there was no other place to go. THEN... we tried to cook and roaches started coming out from behind the stove and refrigerator. We attempted to kill numerous roaches but there were too many. This was too much, so we called the front desk and reported everything. They offered us a new room and we agreed. They moved us to the 3rd floor (same building, just 2 stories above the original unit. Still in a completely different complex from the resort). This unit was slightly better, however, the floors were wavy/uneven, the furniture was extremely dirty we had to cover them with the extra sheets in the closet, the microwave was still dirty containing old food, the dining room table was dirty with a red unknown substance and old bottle tops were found in the centerpiece display, used floss was found on the headboard in the room that my children were to sleep in, there was a huge layer of dust and hair on the light fixtures in the master bathroom, the garden tub was painted and the paint was peeling off in the master bathroom, the ironing board was missing the padding/cover. But, we tolerated this room as there were no roaches. We asked the front desk if there were any other rooms available. We were willing to downgrade to a smaller unit (even though we paid for the biggest) just to get a better place to stay for the week. We were told that any other unit would still be in this complex across the street (not at the resort), so we just stayed here. We were told that a manager would come to speak to us in the morning as it was about 11pm at this point. In the morning, a housekeeper came to the room to "check on us," but didn't understand a word we were saying due to language barriers. She just kept saying, "Sorry, no english." Also, I was expecting a keurig coffee maker (like your website said) so I bought a bunch of kcups for vacation.... to my surprise, that was also a lie. I'm very disappointed as we stayed here before in a 1 bedroom suite (just my husband and I) and it was beautiful. This time we reserved the "Top-of-the-line room" and it was awful. we weren't even in the resort complex, they had us somewhere else across the street and we had to cross a dangerous street to get to amenities that come with the resort. The best part of the resort was the Wi-Fi in the room as there were Wi-Fi extender units in every room ... that's it. Thoroughly disappointed. Pictures available upon request.

Calypso Cay is located in a great place for commuting to Disney...shopping...dining.
The pool was nicely built, but the area around the pool was not kept clean.
The floors in the room were FILTHY. I asked that they be cleaned, but no one ever came.
We ran out of toilet paper (there was no spare roll), and it took HOURS to get some.
The coffee pot was dirty, so there wasn't much attention to detail when cleaning.
The furniture in the living room was so worn out that it was painful to try to sit on. SOOOOO...there was nowhere to relax at all. The whole idea of renting a condo is so that you will be more comfortable. Yikes!
There was a general avoidance of responsibility at the front desk...blaming housecleaning...and they were nice about it. Nice...but totally ineffective.
The "BONES" of this resort were fine...they need to make it a place folks want to go. CLEAN is imperative.
