We were visiting Key West and stayed at Southernmost. There aren't many beach access points but they have a great one right in the middle of the resort. The casual lunch spot was right on the beach with a beautiful view and it was delicious. Amazing location with Duval Street so close! We met with Allie on their team who showed us around. Had a great visit to Southernmost, their resort is right in the center of it all, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, nightlife etc. I also like their restaurant beachside which has the best mahi mahi burger and fries. Big shout out to Allie Singer for introducing SmartFlyer to the property.

This was a last minute getaway with my wife and could not have been happier with the resort. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and while we did wait for the room (check-in is 4:00 PM after all) we sat at the pool and enjoyed a cocktail, sun, and live music. Our room was a ocean view room and believe me when I tell you it was just like the picture. Newly renovated and very nicely appointed. We spent most of our days at the pool but did split some time at the beach. The beach was fantastic (not many resorts have beach access) along with the beach bar. Live music daily was a plus. Highly recommend the spa as well. You will not be disappointed. Walking distance to just about everything if you are so inclined.

Pros: Excellent location on beach, close walking to Duval, etc. Staff was nice. Southernmost Cafe was very good.
Cons: When you pay $45/day for a resort fee, I was expecting more of a resort feel. Management should consider cutting this (as other hotels have) due to COVID. There is no housekeeping, just towel drop. Some rooms open up to a parking lot, so definitely not a resort feel. The hand dryer in the ladies room didn't work, the ice machines were rusty and had no ice. My bath trigger didn't work so I had to move rooms. When you're paying $500/night, I do expect the smaller things to be taken care of. This property is in need of a little TLC for sure!

We had a balcony room on the "town" side of the resort but anywhere you stay on the property is within easy walking or biking distance to many attractions. Our room was fine, nice amenities and huge screen TV but we didn't use it. There are several pools on the property that are all great. The pool bars are fun and the food and beverage prices are lower than other resorts we've stayed at which was a pleasant surprise. We ate breakfast at the beach cafe every day, the food was great! The staff is also super friendly, they like to take care of their guests.
