We went to the cafe to have dessert because we read they had good key lime pie. We inquired at the host stand about if they had key lime pie. The girl said she didn’t know. Then she opened a menu and said said yes. All of the tables on their lovely patio facing the water were available. We asked to sit there. She told us no. She said we could get dessert to go or sit at the bar. So rude. We left and went next door to Seaside Cafe at the mansion. We were greeted by the owner who promptly took us to a waterfront seat. We ended up staying for dinner and it was fabulous! When we finally left there were still a ton of open tables at the southernmost beach cafe. Ridiculous.
