We stayed here before and after a cruise. This hotel and the staff go above and beyond in customer satisfaction. First from the check in at the front desk. Then the very comfortable room on the 6th floor. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and food in the restaurant. When we walked in for breakfast we were greeted by Melissa. She was outstanding with her suggestions for breakfast. The portions are large and very good. When we returned from our cruise we checked in around 11am and the staff remembered us. In fact they gave us the same room we had last week. That night we had dinner in the restaurant. This time Mary Rose was our server, and again very attentive. She brought us fresh hot rolls and water before we even looked at the menu. We ordered the Chicken Parm. and the Mushroom Ravioli. Both were very large portions and outstanding dishes. And the next morning we enjoyed being greeted by Mike and Melissa again, with both of them giving us outstanding service. We would like to send a kudos to the entire staff.

We found this property to be dark and dirty and the furniture was well worn. Our room on the second floor had a huge cockroach, which I killed and took to the desk. The staff moved us to a room on the fourth floor, which smelled like it had been sprayed for bugs.

I will never stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room without cockroaches.

Staff has been trained that each guest is the only important person there and it shows! Any questions were answered, requests fulfilled and done all with a smile. Beautiful pool and outdoor bar area. Rooms were large and updated. Large common areas for sitting. We'll back soon.

Stayed here prior to cruise, good location, dinner was better than expected, good shuttle to from airport. Rooms have been updated. Consider walking across street for McDonald's breakfast. Pool has nice atmosphere and had good dinner poolside

When you walk in, it looks like a new and clean hotel. The lobby is well lit and comfy but once you take the elevator up to your room, it gets old quickly. The rooms are a good size but everything is quite outdated.

Biggggg Tip #1: Steer clear of the overpriced breakfast and do yourself a favor and just go to McDonalds across the street and save yourself $20. And also save your tastebuds.

Biggggg Tip #2: Don't get h2o from the vending machines but rather from the front desk. It's twice the size for the same price ($1).

I'd probably try another place the next time I need to find a hotel close to FLL.
